The parish council is working with DMBC Neighbourhood Office on a proposal to place some permanent Flower Displays around Rossington.

PARISH HALL OPEN DAY - Saturday 18/9/10
Following the success of last years Open Day, the parish council is to make this an annual event. There will be displays, entertainment and refreshments. All residents are welcome.
CHRISTMAS FAYRE - Friday 17/12/10
Each year the Parish Council sponsors a Christmas Fayre at the market. Entertainment is provided for children and adults. Each child receives a present from Father Christmas.
RAW SEWAGE IN HOLMESCARR WOOD
Thanks to the persistence and determination shown by parish councillor Chris Judd, Seven Trent Water Authority has finally acknowledged that the raw sewage flowing into Holmescarr Wood is down to its own faulty system, despite previously denying any responsibility. This is a public health issue that urgently needs fixing.
QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER
The parish council is currently planning to produce a quarterly newsletter that will be delivered to all households in Rossington.
'WADDY" BRIDGE ON PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO. 14
The unceremonious removal by of Waddy Bridge by Doncaster MBC, within days of it approving the Inland Port Planning Application, is a burning issue in Rossington. Parish council representatives are attending a meeting at DMBC on 30/6/10 to discuss this issue.
